Michael Semanchik, Managing Attorney at the California Innocence Project (CIP), was our program speaker on Oct. 5th.  As part of his work, Michael has been involved in many cases surrounding the exoneration of previously-convicted prisoners, and he gave us a very moving presentation on how the CIP is positively impacting citizens wrongfully convicted of crimes and discussed the benefits to society to ensure that our justice system is held accountable for ensuring the innocent are exonerated.  We thank him for his time and insights.
