Our speaker was Al Tait, from the Port of San Diego, discussing the many artworks along San Diego Bay in our neigherborhood. Pictured at left are two sculptures from James Hubbell: PACIFIC PORTAL, a concrete sculpture and gazebo at the entrance to Shelter Island, and PACIFIC SPIRIT, a bronze sculpture at the south end of the island near the Harbor Police Station.
