On the 28th we had the pleasure of hearing from Kristen Keltner from the Ocean Beach Main Street Association (OBMA). OBMA is comprised of area merchants and professionals dedicated to building a thriving business district that fulfills the needs of the neighboring community and visitors alike. Kristen discussed the scope of the OBMA (businesses within 92107 and residents of 92107 with businesses outside the ZIP Code) and gave an update on salient topics such as the reinstatement of outdoor dining (easing of pandemic restrictions - NOT ELIMINATION! - and current events (like the OB Farmers' Market) that have been modified to keep the local population as safe as practical and yet allow some business enterprise to benefit the community.
